Start with the clinical plan, not the brand colour
Two veterinary diets can share a brand and still be intended for different purposes. Write down the exact product name, species, and any duration or monitoring your vet mentioned. That shortlist drives a useful comparison; browsing by brand alone often does not.
Compare the facts that change decisions

Read claims carefully
Words such as renal, urinary, hypoallergenic or hydrolysed are useful search filters, but they are not a diagnosis. Confirm the product is the one recommended for your pet’s plan. When in doubt, ask the clinic before switching.
After you choose a product

Compare the cost of two packs
