Natural does not answer every nutrition question
Natural, grain-free, holistic, premium and similar words can describe positioning rather than a complete nutritional assessment. Look at the product’s species, life stage, complete/complementary status, composition and feeding directions.
Grain-free and novel protein are different ideas
A grain-free recipe may still contain several animal proteins, and a novel protein for one pet may not be novel for another. For suspected allergy or intolerance, a vet-led plan is safer than choosing by a front-of-pack claim alone.
